| Aishwarya Damodar’s legacy also extends to initiatives that bridged technology, governance, and citizen enablement. For Media Lab Asia (Ministry of IT), she delivered two successive versions of their official website, created rural enablement projects, and aligned execution with national digital inclusion goals. Her consulting extended to RFP advisory, vendor management, and program delivery — ensuring government-backed technology projects moved from paper to impact. She also became an early evangelist of Open Source adoption in India, designing and conducting conferences and training programs for CTOs and CIOs. By reframing open-source as an enterprise enabler rather than a cost-cutting measure, she positioned Indian enterprises to adopt emerging technology trends long before they became mainstream. In every project, she combined technical foresight with governance alignment – making sure innovation was not just experimental, but also implementable at scale. |
